Well, Jack has the sickies for about the first time all winter and it's not even winter anymore. I think it's an allergy/asthma thing. Watery eyes, runny nose, sneezing, coughing, clear snot, ears draining. We did head to the doctor because he woke up the other morning with blood in his ear and all over his bed. His ear that has the tube still in place is infected a lot and so we are back on oral antibiotics. The ear that is doing so good, the tube is not in place anymore. Ya, tell me how that works!!! So we will be seeing his ear doctor on the 17th. We also started him on Claritin as well and it seems to be working actually. I was actually excited that his lung doctor actually said we could give him something. But he is 2 and a half now so that helps!!! Jack is really enjoying being outside these past nice days. Of course I had today off and it was cold and he doesn't get that we can't go out and play. But we had fun indoors. I think I put his train track together and apart about 100 times today!! We are getting ready for the March of Dimes garage sale this weekend too. I really hope it doesn't rain. Our team is doing pretty good. They have raised $600 so far. I want to thank them all because I have done terrible in raising money but hopefully tshirts sales and garage sale will get me there!!! Another big thing that happened this week is that Matt and I had an appointment with a high risk OB doctor. We have been contemplating for a while about whether we wanted to have another baby and risk having HELLP syndrome again. We went on Monday and the appointment went okay. He was a great doctor and we got a lot of answers but we have made no decision. He gave us a lot to think about. He said that there is a 1 in 3 chance of having complications again, but not necessarily having HELLP syndrome but having pre-eclampsia. He said that he was confident that we would not have another 24 weeker. He said that there is scan he can do at 16-18 weeks gestation that would be able to tell if wecould encounter problems down the road (vascular something with the placenta and uterus). He was pretty confident that a 35 weeker wouldn't be out of the question but there are so many ifs, ands and buts. Like I said, it gave us a lot to think about. No conclusions have been made yet. So please pray for us as we discuss what the best desicion will be!!! It's a tough call!
