Matt and I and about 10 of our friends went out to dinner at Flat Top grill. My absolute favorite place of all times. We had some great food and great drinks!!!! Then we all went back to our house for a bit and played guitar hero and sang, then it was off to a little sports bar/pub place to Kareoke and drink!!! Do you know how long it has been since I had more than 1 drink???? Probably about 5 years!!!! We had a great time!!!! I was home and in bed by midnight but it still was a great time! Thank you to all my friends that came out and all who wished me a happy birthday.
Then Sunday (my actual birthday), I had every intention of sleeping in but Matt and I were both awake by 830am and went out to breakfast at Flat Top Grill. YUMMY!!! and then out to pick up Jack at my parents. He wasn't too exicted to come home but that's okay. We ended up going to Bandito's for lunch/dinner (because you get a free meal on your birthday) with my parents and pretty much called it a day.

Then, Monday, the 16th.....was Jack's "supposed to be" birthday. It was his due date. We don't celebrate it or anything but I will always remember that day and always think about what it would be like if he was actually born on my birthday or something. He is so awesome!!!!!!!!!!!
He is very into reading right now. And spelling his name. And finding ALL words that have "his letters" in it. We will be at the grocery store and yell, "Hey, Mommy, that cheese has a C in it for my name." We were at Lowe's the other day and he looked up at the big letters and said, "Hey mommy, that words doesn't have any of my letters in it." Too funny. And he just realized the letters above his closet door that spell his name so he spells his name about 30 times before he goes to sleep! J-A-C-K! over and over and over!!! I LOVE IT!!!! And every letter stands for something. D is for Daddy. L is for Lindsay. P is for Payton (school friend), R is for Renee (school friend). I think they do that at school. SO CUTE!!!
loves to read!!!!
