THE MARCH FOR BABIES

Today was the big MARCH FOR BABIES!!! It really started off cold and we weren't sure we would be able to do it all because of the kiddos but we snuggled them in tight in their stollers (Jack and Zoey "Ceedo" rode together) and it really worked out nice!!! We weren't sure Jack was going to be able to go at all. He woke up from nap Thursday with a temp of 102.0 and Friday I had to call in sick to work and take him to the dr. We weren't sure what was going on because he had no other symptoms except the fever. Come to find out, double ear infection (surprise surprise) and his tonsils were a little red. So another antibiotic. And the rest of that will have to wait for another blog...hahah. After the walk, it had warmed up a bit and after a few bites of food, all the kids were ready for naps, as well as adults!!! I have attached most the pictures I took and I will have more when i yank my mom's camera for an upload! Enjoy!! And thanks to all that walked with us today and also to all those who donated to HELP SAVE BABIES!!! we love you all!!!

Jack when we first got ready this morning. Not really lovin' life yet!
Had to get a pic of the back of the shirt!!

NEW DESIGN and update

First of all, as all of you can see we have a new look and a new title and we have to thank Hilary (see side bar for her website and acknowledgement) for designing this for us. she did such an awesome job and i can't thank her enough. THANK YOU HILARY!!!!!!!

Jack had a ear doctor appt today and they actually physically took out the tube that was in his left ear and just hanging out in his ear canal and then they suctioned his right ear (bad ear) and got all the ickies out and that tube is still in place which is a good thing since it's still so infected and we want it to drain the ickies out. Needless to say jack hated every minute of it and kept telling Dr that he was "nnnn done" (=all done) haha. so we are doing ear drops twice a day and vinegar and water irrigations twice a day for 3 weeks and back to see him. That man is just taking all my money I do have to say that!!!

We also had to go shopping today for a new summer wardrobe for jack. All of his shorts from last summer actually still fit him around the waist but they are bit on the way too short side and all his shirts fit but the same problem and then sandals fit him but he kept telling me "owey" and then he found his crocs which were too small for him at the end of last summer, but he HAD to wear them today and he fell about 20 times at kohls because he couldn't handle it!!! CRAZY so we got some sandals too!!! So he is in style now!!!

Well, that's all for now!!!!!

sickies

Well, Jack has the sickies for about the first time all winter and it's not even winter anymore. I think it's an allergy/asthma thing. Watery eyes, runny nose, sneezing, coughing, clear snot, ears draining. We did head to the doctor because he woke up the other morning with blood in his ear and all over his bed. His ear that has the tube still in place is infected a lot and so we are back on oral antibiotics. The ear that is doing so good, the tube is not in place anymore. Ya, tell me how that works!!! So we will be seeing his ear doctor on the 17th. We also started him on Claritin as well and it seems to be working actually. I was actually excited that his lung doctor actually said we could give him something. But he is 2 and a half now so that helps!!!

Jack is really enjoying being outside these past nice days. Of course I had today off and it was cold and he doesn't get that we can't go out and play. But we had fun indoors. I think I put his train track together and apart about 100 times today!!

We are getting ready for the March of Dimes garage sale this weekend too. I really hope it doesn't rain. Our team is doing pretty good. They have raised $600 so far. I want to thank them all because I have done terrible in raising money but hopefully tshirts sales and garage sale will get me there!!!

Another big thing that happened this week is that Matt and I had an appointment with a high risk OB doctor. We have been contemplating for a while about whether we wanted to have another baby and risk having HELLP syndrome again. We went on Monday and the appointment went okay. He was a great doctor and we got a lot of answers but we have made no decision. He gave us a lot to think about. He said that there is a 1 in 3 chance of having complications again, but not necessarily having HELLP syndrome but having pre-eclampsia. He said that he was confident that we would not have another 24 weeker. He said that there is scan he can do at 16-18 weeks gestation that would be able to tell if wecould encounter problems down the road (vascular something with the placenta and uterus). He was pretty confident that a 35 weeker wouldn't be out of the question but there are so many ifs, ands and buts. Like I said, it gave us a lot to think about. No conclusions have been made yet. So please pray for us as we discuss what the best desicion will be!!! It's a tough call!

Also, keep looking at the webpage. I have someone designing a new look for our page. I'm really excited about it. I hope you will all like it!!
