Jack's 1st soccer game

Sorry there are a TON of pictures. They are all pretty much self explanatory! It was a FREEZING cold WINDY day and it was just terrible for 3-4-5 years olds to play soccer. Jack was all talk until we got there and then he was glued to hips of anyone he knew. We was set to go out on the field for the first period and he bawled, sobbed and picked his lip the whole time!!!! He wanted to hold the coaches hand the whole time and she was not letting him (we told her not to let him) and it was making me lose my mind. I felt so terrible because he was so upset. So I had the coach let him out of the game for the next period (they have 6 little periods). So then we had to have a PEP TALK!!! I told him what an awesome job he was doing and how he needed to run like a big soccer TEAMER and how after he was done his friend Kaden and his mommy brough snack and then we could go to Mcdonald's and then take a nap and go see his girl ZOEY!!!! All that worked!!!!!!!!!! Next thing you know he was out on the field and he didn't need to hold his coaches hand and he actually kicked the ball about a dozen times. He wasn't super enthusiastic but he wasn't crying and that was a PLUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Afterward he said he wanted to play next time but he wanted to wear his Thomas shoes cuz he can run "faster faster faster" in them!!!! He HATES his cleats!!!!!!!!!
